What's Happening?
The Harrisburg Downtown Improvement District (DID) received a $5,000 donation from the PA Skill Games to organize the upcoming Harrisburg St. Patrick’s Parade. The parade is a community event that features marching bands, Irish dance groups, floats, and more, and brings the entire Harrisburg area together to enjoy the festivities.
The DID would also like to thank their sponsors, The Brick Haus and Zembie’s Sports Tavern, for helping make this event possible. Accepting the check is DID executive director, Todd Vander Woude, along with Harrisburg Mayor Eric Papenfuse, Zembie’s owner Angelo Karagiannis, and Long Nyquist associate, John Gower.
